Dawn Mountain welcomes curious people from all walks of life to come and explore the richness of Tibetan Buddhism. Whether you have never meditated before or are a seasoned practitioner of Tibetan or other Buddhism, we look forward to meeting you and the possibility of nurturing your spiritual growth. In the Dawn Mountain sangha we have young, old, single, married, gay, straight, trans – people of all races and identities. Some of our members come regularly to our Sunday morning meditations, while others prefer to attend on Tuesday nights. Many are grateful for the opportunity to “catch up” online with teachings or programs they have missed in person.
Those seeking to develop meaningful practices are invited to cultivate relationships with one or both of our resident teachers, Anne and Harvey. Devout students typically meet with their teachers on a regular basis to discuss issues that arise as practice deepens. Anne and Harvey offer these personal meetings on a dana, or donation basis, that is, students make monetary gifts by cash or check directly to the teachers in appreciation of their time and care.
